Ranveer Singh is currently basking in the glory of the success of his film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Alia Bhatt. The Karan Johar directorial has received a positive response from audiences and critics alike. And the box office numbers are proof of that. The character of Rocky Randhawa played by Ranveer Singh has garnered a fan base of its own, it looks like his Nana Ji is his biggest fan.

The actor took to his Instagram to share a series of cute pictures and videos with his Nana Ji. Now we know that the powerhouse Ranveer gets his energy from his family. His Nana Ji is 93 years old. His impeccable enthusiasm, energy, and support for his grandson Ranveer is melting our hearts.

Driving away our mid-day blues, he blesses our feed with these cute videos and wrote in the caption, “Nana is the peak of Rocky-ism! 93 and rocking!!!” In the first photo, we see Nana Ji looking fantastic in a black t-shirt that reads ‘Team Rocky.’ Ranveer is sporting a blue sweatshirt with ‘What Jhumka?’ embroidered on it. In the following video, we see Nana Ji grooving to the song Jhoomka Gira Re. Trust me, we can’t stop smiling and handling this level of adorableness. In the last video, it’s proven that he is not only a fun grandparent but also a crazy one. He tells Ranveer, “Tikki chodo tequila lao (Leave Tikki, bring Tequila).”

We really want to start a petition for Ranveer Singh to create Nana Ji’s own Instagram channel.

While Ranveer’s character Rocky is winning hearts, in a recent interview with Film Companion, director Karan Johar said, “Rocky needed to be this lovable boy. He had to be Poo but updated. He was like the male Poo, and he was like the Ken to Barbie. It’s all ironic that Barbie is out here now. So, he was like the perfect kind of Ken, who has had rough edges.”

Reportedly, Ranveer will be starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next movie, Baiju Bawra. There have also been rumours about him being lined up for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. However, there is no official confirmation yet for both projects.
