The 90’s was one of the best eras’ of Bollywood. From the costumes to the songs, everything about the 90’s was classy and catchy. Even today, the romantic and peppy numbers are etched in heads and people don’t even mind grooving to the same. But, the recent trend of recreating the old classics has not really been a hit affair. On one hand, songs like ‘Ek Do Teen’ have failed to retain the charm, there are songs like ‘Laila’ and ‘Tamma Tamma Again’ which have proved to be at par with the classics.
The latest song to be recreated for a movie is ‘Aankh Maare Ladka O Ladka’ from ‘Tere Mere Sapne’, which released in 1996. The song had Arshad Warsi and Simran flirting with each other on the streets of Mumbai. And, we will soon be able to watch actor Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan imitating the same. Yes! Ranveer and Sara will be romancing and dancing to the tunes of this song in their next ‘Simmba’.
