Ranveer Singh cancels an event in the wake of Indo-Pak conflict

The whole of India is currently praying for the safe return of IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. The India-Pakistan conflict has escalated and the Hindi film industry is standing by the armed forces with full gusto. Now, Ranveer Singh cancelled his flight for brand promotion in the wake of the tense situation.

According to a report in SpotBoye, Ranveer Singh was at Mumbai airport, last night, around 1-1:30 am. His car reached the airport drop-off point but the actor did not get down from his car, which suddenly took a U-turn and headed out.

The ‘Gully Boy’ actor was supposed to fly to Delhi for a mobile brand’s promotion. He spent most of his day, yesterday, discussing with the brand if they should go ahead with the event, considering the sensitive situation in the country, after India’s air strikes inside Pakistani terror launch pads.

It took time for the brand and Ranveer to come to a conclusion and by that time the actor reached the airport, which is when he finally got a call from the brand. The event was called off eventually. Yesterday, Diljit Dosanjh also postponed his unveiling of the wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Delhi.
