Ranveer Singh has a ‘brilliant’ take on Virat Kohli’s picture with Vivian Richards

Ranveer Singh is currently gearing for his upcoming movie ’83’ and he is leaving no stone unturned to get into the shoes of former Indian captain Kapil Dev (Ranveer is playing Kapil Dev in ’83’). Recently, at the World Cup 2019, he was in London cheering for team India during one of the matches. Later, he was seen posing with cricketers post the match.

The entire Indian team is currently in Miami for the ongoing India vs West Indies tour. On Monday (August 5), Virat took to his Instagram handle to share a picture with former cricketer Vivian Richards. It was indeed a fanboy moment for Virat and he shared a picture with Mr. Richards and captioned it as, “With the biggest BOSS!” To which, Ranveer Singh commented, “Met some of the Windies legends…they speak so highly of you! #proud.”

Talking about ’83’, Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia Dev in the film. The movie is about the time India won the World Cup in 1983. Directed by Kabir Khan, it also stars Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi and Tahir Raj Bhasin among others.
