A new interesting revelation was made by Ranveer Singh regarding Deepika Padukone and his visit to two temples on their first wedding anniversary. The actor shared an adorable reason with a connection to Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starrer 2 States.
In a promo video of The Big Picture, shared on Instagram, Ranveer answers some questions. The actor was quizzed on his picture with Deepika from their visit to the Tirupati temple. Singh was asked to guess the location of the picture which featured Deepika and him. Reacting to the picture, the actor joked, “I should know, obviously I should know otherwise I’ll get a lappad (slap) when I get back home.”
He then went on to compare Deepika and his love story to the Chetan Bhagat novel titled 2 States. He explained, “Basically, Deepika and I thought we should do something special on our first anniversary. As you know, our life is similar to 2 States. Her family is from Bengaluru, mine is from Mumbai.”

The actor further shared the reason behind Deepika and his visit to two temples on their frist wedding anniversary. Ranveer said, “So we thought since it’s our first anniversary, why don’t we visit both places. We went to Golden Temple in Amritsar but before that, we visited the temple seen in the picture, which is Tirupati temple.” Singh also called himself “husband of the century” for guessing the rught answer.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in 2018. They got married on November 14, in an intimate wedding ceremony in the presence of close friends and family, in Lake Como, Italy.
