Actor Ranveer Singh condoled the demise of Gully Boy singer MC Tod Fod aka Dharmeesh Pawar. The youngster passed away at the age of 24 to the shock of many. Friends and fans expressed their grief over Dharmesh’s sudden demise. Dharmesh was a popular Mumbai street rapper who was known for his Gujrati lyrics. He was one of the soundtrack artists on Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s 2019 film Gully Boy. Dharmesh had lent his voice to the song ‘India 91’ for ‘Gully Boy.

The Padmaavat star took his Instagram story and shared a picture of the rapper. He added a broken heart emoticon.

Not only Ranveer Singh but actor Siddhant Chaturvedi also mourned the demise of rapper Dharmesh Pawar. Siddhant extended his condolences by sharing a screenshot of his conversation with the late Gujarati rapper. In the picture, they are seen appreciating each other for their music and performance.

He wrote, “RIP bhai,” along with a broken-heart emoticon.

The cause of MC Tod Fod’s death has not been revealed. He was associated with the Mumbai based hip hop collective ‘Swadesi’. His band Swadesi took to Instagram earlier today and shared a video featuring him.

In the caption, they wrote an emotional note,  “It was with this night that @todfod_ performed his last ever gig at Swadesi Mela. You had to be there to experience it, his thrill his love for playing live music. You are never forgotten, you will always live through with your music.”
