Ranveer Singh drops new 83 poster reveals trailer release date

Ranveer Singh starrer 83 is one of the most awaited films. The Kabir Khan directorial is based on India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup victory. The movie has been making waves ever since the makers shared the teaser on YouTube and other platforms. Today the Gully Boy star took to Instagram and shared a new poster of the sports drama. He even revealed the trailer release date of 83 that has him playing the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.

Ranveer Singh unveiled the new poster by sharing a quote by Kapil Dev about how his mother pushed him to win since childhood.

Ranveer wrote, “Bachpan se meri mumma mujhe sirf ek hee cheez kehti aayi hai – Beta jeet ke aana, koi best of shest of luck nahi. Bas jeet ke aana.’ – Kapil Dev, 1983 (sic) #83Trailer Out Tomorrow. ”83 RELEASING IN CINEMAS ON 24TH DEC, 2021, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Also in 3D.

83 also features Deepika Padukone, she is playing the role of Ranveer Singh’s onscreen wife, she is also one of the producers of the Kabir Khan directorial.

83 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Saqib Saleem, and Tahir Raj Bhasin, among others. After being delayed twice due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the movie is finally scheduled to release in theatres on December 24, 2021.
