Ranveer Singh is on an all-time high. His film ‘Simmba’ has managed to do rip-roaring business at the box office. Already, it has grossed more than Rs. 250 crore at the global box office. He was also recently married to the love of his life, Deepika Padukone at Lake Como, Italy.
Now, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of his next film i.e. ‘Gully Boy’. It’ll see him playing a street rapper, and if the trailer is anything to go by, the film is set to be one of Indian cinema’s biggest gems. Recently, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranveer opened up about the process of preparing for the role. He said that his character in ‘Gully Boy’ didn’t come very naturally to him.
He also said that Mr. Bhansali told him that the challenge with him was that he could do so much, but the flipside to it was that it would take a lot of effort to rein that in. “I am, as an actor, a doer. I like to be out there doing. To be present is easy, to be absent (almost) is not that easy. It’s a challenge. It’s something I learnt on the job. It is something that I explored very consciously,” he said.
Well, we are surely impressed by Ranveer Singh’s versatility. He is looking fabulous in ‘Gully Boy’ and we can’t wait to watch the film.
