Ranveer Singh: I have no problem with nudity

Ranveer Singh reached yet another level of frankness in the recently released trailer of ‘Befikre’. Apart from all the bold sequences with the female lead, Vaani Kapoor in the trailer, he is also seen waling extremely comfortably in a red speedo, flaunting his body.

And while many actors may be super uncomfortable in such an avatar, here is Ranveer who has absolutely no problem with nudity. In an interview with a popular daily, Ranveer was asked if he was awkward while shooting for the scene, to which the actor confessed, “I have no problem with nudity. I am not an exhibitionist, I am extremely comfortable in my skin. People say actors nange hote hai, that doesn’t mean they are literally naked. It means when an actor is performing it is completely convincing, but they are acting, they don’t really feel it.”

He adds, “Actors have their bag of tricks and tools that they employ. They are so effective that the audience are convinced that the actor is feeling the emotions. I am not from that school. My wearing the speedo is just the physical aspect of it and it means very little as opposed to what I am actually putting out there. I am naked to another level and it has more to do with my soul. If you wear your soul, you can’t be more naked than that.”

‘Befikre’, directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Raj Films, is all set to release on December 9, 2016.
