Ranveer Singh is all praise for Shah Rukh Khan: He is a king for a reason

Ranveer Singh is one of the most popular stars in Bollywood. He made his debut with Band Baaja Baaraat and later went on to star in multiple films. The actor has proved that he is one of a kind in the industry. Ranveer Singh has been inspired by many in his acting career, and Shah Rukh Khan is one of them. In a recent interview, Ranveer showered praise on SRK.

In an interview with Film Companion, the Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor expressed that SRK is an absolute pioneer in Indian entertainment. He added that SRK is a king for a reason. The actor also recalled how he joked the other day, “inhone jo mall banaya hai usmein hum apni dukaan chalaa rahe hai.”

Adding to that, Ranveer said, “SRK has made Indian entertainment what it is.” He also added that be it award shows or live shows, he is the benchmark, the norm, and that he defines it.”

Ranveer went on to add that he really loves him and has a great amount of respect for King Khan. He also said that he cannot wait to see him back on screen.

On the work front, Ranveer has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Divyang Thakkar. Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The film also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah. It is slated to release on May 13. Apart from his upcoming release, Ranveer also Cirkus in his kitty.

Talking about King Khan, he will be making a comeback on the big screen with Pathaan, starring Deepika Padukone in the female lead. Other than that, he announced a film titled Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani. SRK and Taapsee Pannu for the first time in the film. Fans are beyond excited for his upcoming projects.
