Ranveer Singh-Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Cirkus to hit screens on New Year’s Eve?

Ranveer Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Cirkus will now be releasing in December last, 2021. Rohit Shetty is reportedly planning to release his movie Cirkus on New Year’s Eve in theatres. Rohit’s Sooryavanshi is also releasing this year. The makers are reportedly eyeing for May-June release for the Akshay Kumar cop drama. Ranveer’s Simmba also released around the same weekend, one week after Christmas in 2018. Well, with Cirkus and Sooryavanshi, Rohit Shetty has two big releases this year. Sooryavanshi also has Katrina Kaif opposite Akshay Kumar.

If Cirkus is releasing in theatres, then it will face competition with Aamir Khan starrer as Laal Singh Chaddha is releasing in Christmas. Simmba had released in December 2018 just after a week after Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. But Zero tanked at the box-office and Simmba did well.

Cirkus was announced last year in October and it went floors in November. It is expected to wrap up the shoot next month. The team has shot a major portion in Mumbai and is expected to go to Ooty and Goa to complete the remaining portion.

Cirkus is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s play The Comedy Of Errors. This is Ranveer’s third movie with Rohit Shetty. Presented by Bhushan Kumar in association with Reliance Entertainment, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma. Siddhartha Jadhav, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.
