Ranveer Singh is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. Recently, he attended the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The actor received a special award from Sharon Stone onstage for his contribution to the Hindi film industry. The actor looked dapper in a black shirt, shimmery black blazer and pants. In his acceptance speech, Ranveer mentioned Johnny and called him his ‘screen idol’. The actor said, “Wow, one of my screen idols is in the house, one and only Mr Johnny Depp. My good sir I’ve followed your work since Edward Scissorhands and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. What an honour to be receiving this in your presence. Thank you for everything that you’ve unknowingly taught me about the craft sir, master of transformation, versatility something that I’ve inspired by you.” Ranveer lived his fanboy moment at the film festival.

Ranveer made his Bollywood debut with the romantic comedy Band Baaja Baarat. Over the years, Ranveer Singh has appeared in movies like Bajirao Mastanani, Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela, Gully Boy, ’83, and Simmba among others. He is one of the top actors in Bollywood today. In September, Ranveer delivered a terrific performance in Karan Johar’s directorial film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

The actor will be next seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. Ranveer is replacing Shah Rukh Khan as the new Don. Apart from that, he also has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn. He is reprising the role of Sangram ‘Simmba’ Bhalerao.
