Ranveer Singh – Priyanka Chopra shoot emotional song for ‘Bajirao Mastani’

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’ starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra is already moving ahead at great speed. Priyanka Chopra plays the role of Kashibai, who is Bajirao’s wife. Deepika Padukone on the other hand plays Mastani, who is Bajirao’s (Ranveer Singh) love interest

Recently the makers of Bajirao Mastani shot an emotional song between Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra. Choreographer, Shampa Gopikrishna known for ever-sensuous song ‘Ang Laga De’ from ‘Golliyon ki Rasleela – RamLeela’, has choreographed the song between Priyanka and Ranveer.

Shampa says, “The song is a heartbreaking one where you’ll see a change coming in Bajirao and his wife’s relationship. The song is going to be a visual treat. It doesn’t have much dance but it will show the emotional connect between Ranveer and Priyanka’s character. It is an emotional and heartbreaking song but portrayed very beautifully.”

She further added that, “It was great fun and very comfortable choreographing them. I’ve known Priyanka since my dance training days and Ranveer is super fun on the sets. But he stayed in his character mostly. And Priyanka and Ranveer are great friends and share a good rapport.”

‘Bajirao Mastani’ is all set to release on December 18, 2015.
