Ranveer Singh is all set to entertain the audiences with his three upcoming films. The actor has wrapped up Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’, and will soon start shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’. The ever-energetic actor will be seen playing the character of a cop for the first time on-screen in ‘Simmba’.
Well, if the latest report in DNA is to be believed, Ranveer can be a part of director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next. Mehra has two films in his mind, one is a sports film revolving around Kabaddi and another one is about a father-son relationship. And the buzz is that the ‘Padmaavat’ actor will be seen in either of the two projects. (Also Read: Ranveer Singh’s grandmother passes away)
Spilling more beans on the same, a source told leading daily, “Ranveer and Rakeysh met and discussed working together. The filmmaker has bounced off the ideas to Ranveer, but nothing has been locked yet. They are going to have a few more meetings before they zero in on the film.”
If the two actually team up, then it will be an exciting venture to look forward to. Meanwhile, Ranveer is currently sweating it out for his next ‘Simmba’, which releases on 28th December’18. The film also features Sara Ali Khan in a lead role. Apart from this, the actress has ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
