Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty team up for ‘Cirkus’

Ranveer Singh and director Rohit Shetty have teamed up again for the movie ‘Cirkus’. Presented by Bhushan Kumar in association with Reliance Entertainment, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma. Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.

‘Cirkus’ is set to go on floors next month and will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa. It has been produced and will be directed by Rohit Shetty and will release in winter 2021. The film is Rohit Shetty’s take on the classic Shakespeare’s play, ‘The Comedy of Errors’.

After ‘Simmba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Cirkus’ is Rohit and Ranveer’s third outing together.

‘Sooryavasnhi’ is yet to release. It was supposed to release this year but due to the Coronavirus lockdown, the release date has been postponed. Now, it is expected to hit theatres in 2021. The cop universe that started with Ajay Devgn in ‘Singham’ and ‘Singham Returns’, is followed by Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simbaa’ and now Akshay Kumar will be seen as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi in the film. Ranveer and Ajay will play cameo roles.
