Ranveer Singh says No to Rohit Shetty’s Ram Lakhan but why?

Ranveer Singh is running high with the success of his last film ‘Bajirao Mastani.’ The film which clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ directed by Rohit Shetty managed to fair really well at the box-office and now this Bajirao is gearing up to be a chocolate-boy in ‘Befikre’ helmed by Aditya Chopra.

No doubt that Ranveer has become filmmakers favorite after delivering back-to-back succesful films. Rohit Shetty is one such filmmaker who is keen to direct this enthusiastic heartthrob in his film. There were reports which suggested that Rohit is keen on roping in Ranveer to play the role of Lakhan in the remake of Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff’s cult film ‘Ram Lakhan.’ But, if the recent buzz is something to go by then Ranveer has reportedly rejected Rohit’s offer to play the Lakhan in the remake. Reports suggest that Ranveer has turned down the offer for unknown reasons.

But, if we remember than Ranveer was very excited for this role so why this denial? We wonder what’s the reason behind this rejection of Ranveer? Is the rivalry which took place during the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Dilwale’ clash still on? You never know!

As of now, Ranveer is busy with his ‘Befikre’ act with Vaani Kapoor playing the leading role in the film.
