Ranveer Singh calls wife Deepika Padukone ‘very gharelu’, spills the beans on their new home

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. After dating for a few years, Deepika and Ranveer got married in 2018. Post tying the knot, Ranveer moved into Deepika’s Prabhadevi home. Earlier this year, Deepika and Ranveer bought their new home. Now, in an interview, Ranveer spilled the beans on the new house and also called his wife Deepika ‘very gharelu’. The actor added that Deepika loves playing homemaker which he finds very ‘endearing’.

Speaking with Esquire, Ranveer said, “Deepika and I just bought our first house together, so we’re building our home! I moved into her place after the wedding, so it’s been about four years now. But this is our first home together. Because she’s so busy with everything she does and I’m also busy, and she’s very homely. She’s very gharelu (homebody). We don’t go out much and we love spending time with each other at home. So, this home that we’ve gotten is a couple of hours outside the city; it’s quiet, it’s secluded and it really is the perfect place for us to spend our quality time.”

The actor added that Deepika has put her ‘heart into decorating’ their new house and that he loves observing her child-like excitement. He went on to add, “She loves playing homemaker, and I find that extremely endearing. So, at this moment, I just want to spend quality time with my wife at home.”

On the work front, Ranveer will be seen in Cirkus. The actor has started promoting the film with co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, and Varun Sharma among others. Deepika Padukone has a cameo in the film. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is slated to release on December 23. Apart from that, Ranveer will also be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.

Talking about Deepika, she has Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress will also be seen in the Hindi remake of The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from that, Deepika also has Project K with Prabhas, Big B and Disha Patani. Deepika will also be seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan.
