Superstar Ranveer Singh has been conferred the pestigious Etoile d’Or award. The Gully Boy star is headed for the Marrakesh International Film Festival to receive the honour. The award has previously been conferred to megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
Ranveer Singh will be one of the youngest actor to have ever received this award at Marrakesh along with Hollywood icon Leonardo Di Caprio! His felecitation will take place at the historic Jemaa el-Fna Square.
The actor will be in the Moroccan city from November 11 to November 13. He will also conduct his first acting masterclass at Marrakesh. It will be held in the presence of cinematic giants like Oscar Isaac, Marion Cotillard and Tilda Swinton!
Marrakesh International Film Festival will also screen Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Gully Boy’ and ‘Padmaavat’.
These screenings will be attended by Paolo Sorrentino, James Gray, Marion Cotillard, Suzanne Bier, Oscar Isaac, Vanessa Kirby, Diane Kruger, Justin Kurzel, Essie Davis, Nadine Labaki, LaA-la Marrakchi, Tahar Rahim, Farida Benlyazid, to name a few.

Recently actress Deepika Padukone completed 15 years in Bollywood and shared an update about her next project on Instagram. Hubby Ranveer Singh soon dropped a cheeky comment on her post that was much loved by his fans. He wrote, ‘It’s time to give me a kiss.’
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. He will be reuniting with his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt. The movie also features veteran actor Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. He akso has Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus in his kitty.
