Ranveer Singh to play Superhero in a YRF Sci-Fi franchise?

Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is going through a purple patch on and off the screen. The 33-year-old actor married his soulmate Deepika Padukone in Italy’s Lake Como. Now, according to reports, Ranveer will venture into the much loved ‘superhero’ space along with Yash Raj Films! The production house is planning to work on a huge sci-fi adventure franchise. And are keen for Ranveer to be part of it.

A source quoted by PinkVilla said, “Ranveer is doing Maneesh Sharma’s next which is a musical. After that, he has also liked another project where he will play a superhero. It’s an action adventure project that is being planned as a franchise and will be mounted on a lavish scale. It will be one of the biggest projects for the company, too. He is also supposed to do a film with Ali Abbas Zafar right after these two.”

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is currently busy with the shoot of Kabir Khan’s ’83’. ’83’ is based on India’s triumph at the 1983 cricket World Cup. Ranveer will be playing the role of former Indian captain Kapil Dev. The ‘Simmba’ actor is leaving no stone unturned and undergoing intense training. ’83’ is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, 2020.
