Ranveer Singh EXPLAINS viral photo that has Deepika Padukone blessing the ‘Simmba’ trio

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding ceremony has been gathering enough attention of media and as well as fans. Besides this, the newlywed couple had a lot on their plate even after their marriage, like Ranveer’s ‘Simmba‘ release, ‘Gully Boy’ and Deepika gearing up for her upcoming movie about acid attack survivor Laxmi Saa.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh, producer Karan Johar and director Rohit Shetty’s picture from their ‘Simmba’ success celebration caught the eye of fans on social media as the three were seen seeking blessings from Deepika Padukone.

An ace filmmaker of B-town Karan Johar took shared this picture on his Instagram stories and had captioned it, “Good luck blessings’. On the other hand, Rohit Shetty also posted the photo on his Instagram and wrote, “Good luck blessings”.

Earlier, the ‘Simmba’ actor spoke about this picture at the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Gully Boy’ and said that the blessings from Deepika were sought because she was the ‘Lakshmi who has come home’.

However, the actor is currently taking over the box office counters with the Sara Ali Khan-starrer as the collections are skyrocketing. Director Rohit Shetty and producer Karan Johar threw a success bash where several stars including Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn attended.

Also, Ranveer’s ‘Gully Boy’ has been creating a lot of buzz as the film which is loosely based on the stories of Divine and Naezy, underground rappers in Mumbai, seems promising. Featuring Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin, the trailer was released on Wednesday and fans have showering love on the actors, especially on director Zoya Akhtar. The movie will release on February 14.

Deepika, on the other hand, will begin shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhappak’ co-starring Vikrant Massey in March.
