Ranveer Singh’s gujarati avatar in ‘Ram Leela’

Bollywood’s brat Ranveer Singh was dressed in a traditional Gujarati dress of a dhoti -kurta and the turban too with the right accessories to romance Deepika Padukone who plays the role of a Gujarati princess in Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’.

As per sources,  Bhansali’s ‘RamLeela’ is said to be based on Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo Juliet’. Ranveer plays the role of Ram and Deepika plays the role of Leela in the movie. And the traditional attire is all thanks to Bhansali who had requested them to dress up thus.

Well seems like the movie is based on a background of Gujarat quite similar to ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.
