Yesterday, the highly anticipated trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ was released online and it instantly met with a thunderous response from the audiences and the critics alike. Soon, we saw everybody bombarding the actors with heaps of praises for their characterisation. Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as the ruthless and menacing Alauddin Khilji were much loved by the audiences.

In fact, Ranveer’s negative act literally scared the wits out of everyone. So, the actor thought it would be the perfect time to express his gratitude for all the love showered on him. He penned a heartfelt note which he shared on his social media pages. Here are some excerpts from the letter: “Senior peers, friends in the media and the trade, and most of all our BELOVED AUDIENCE…
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you who have been so generous in effusively showering love and appreciation for our trailer. He further wrote, “It’s a result of the blood, sweat and tears that our Team has poured into this mammoth effort. Sanjay Sir, my crazy genius, the master craftsman.. has fought, suffered and sacrificed for this film – the success of this trailer is testament to his sheer tenacity and uron will. What you’re seeing is the vision of a deeply passionate artists who has bared his inifinite soul on celluloid. He is tireless and unrelenting in his pursuit of excellence. I am blessed to have had the privilege of being directed by him – ne nurtures me and I learn from him and grow every day.”
