Ranvir Shorey has THIS to say on working with his ex-wife Konkona Sensharma again

Konkona Sensharma and Ranvir Shorey tied the knot in 2010 but they separated in 2015. In February 2020, Konkona and Ranvir filed for a divorce and in August they got divorced. They have a son Haroon and both have joint custody. Earlier, they worked together in films like Traffic Signal, Mixed Doubles, Aaja Nachle, and Gour Hari Dastaan – The Freedom File. Ranvir also featured in Konkona’s directorial debut, A Death in the Gunj.

In an interview, Ranvir said that he has doubt of any possibility of working with his ex-wife, Konkona Sensharma, again. He told Rediff, “I doubt that. With the first one (Konkona’s directorial debut A Death In The Gunj), she made sure I was a part of it, but we were separating at the time. Even if the bitterness is there, it should not spill over to the child’s life. That is more important for me. Whatever steps we take, they have to be right for Haroon.”

In September 2020 when Ranvir interacted with his fans during #AskRanvir session on Twitter, a user asked him about remarrying Konkona. The question was, “I love @konkonas as Director and Actor… Will you guys ever get married again… #AskRanvir”. He reacted with laughing emojis.

Lawyer Amruta Sathe Pathak, who was representing Konkona, told ETimes that Ranvir and Konkona tried to work on their marriage but they were unable to resolve their differences. She said, “Yes, Konkona and Ranvir are now divorced. It was done very amicably.”
