Ranvir Shorey pens an emotional note as he mourns his father’s demise: Lost my greatest source of inspiration

Ranvir Shorey took to social media and shared that the sad news of his father KD Shorey’s demise on Saturday. KD Shorey was 92. He breathed his last on Friday. Ranvir, who shared a great bond with his father KD Shorey, penned an emotional note for him on Instagram.

Ranvir shared a picture of his father on Instagram and wrote, “My beloved father, Krishan Dev Shorey, passed away peacefully last night at the ripe old age of 92, surrounded by his children and grand children. He leaves behind wonderful memories and many admirers. I have lost my greatest source of inspiration and protection.”

Ranvir’s friends and fans offered condolences to him. Abhishek Kapoor commented, “Deepest condolences brother.” Kay Kay Menon dropped a comment saying, “Heartfelt condolences Ranvir! Aum Shanti! Sadgati!” One of his fans commented, “Stay strong sir.” Another fan wrote, “May his soul rest in peace sir.” “Heartfelt condolences,” wrote a fan. Another one commented, “Wishing strength and peace for the family.”

Ranvir Shorey is one of the popular actors in the industry. The actor made his acting debut with Ek Chhotisi Love Story. Ranvir shared screen space with Manisha Koirala in the same. He has starred in many films such as Jism, Singh Is Kinng, and Lakshya. The actor has also starred in Traffic Signal, Bheja Fry and Mithya.

The actor was married to Konkona Sen Sharma. They have a son named Haroon. Ranvir and Konkona separated after five years of marriage. They ex-couple continue to remain friends and share the custody of their son.
