When Salman Khan compared himself to a ‘raped woman’ he had no idea what he was calling for! Social activists, Twitteratis and many others bashed him left, right and center for making that insensitive comment. In fact, even his leading lady of ‘Sultan’, Anushka Sharma found his comment to be insensitive. So over the same, the Maharashtra State Commission for Women had sent a notice to Salman Khan.
On June 29, the Maharashtra State Commission (MSCW) had summoned the actor to give clarification on his statement. This came after the parent body of MSCW, the National Commission of Women (NCW) had summoned Salman Khan for his statement. Latest update on this states that Salman has sent out his reply in this regard. Salman’s lawyer was quoted saying, “Salman has filed his response to Maharashtra State Commission For Women notice issued yesterday.” Further reports state that in his response, Salman has said that MSCW has no jurisdiction to take over this case.
Meanwhile, Salman’s ‘Sultan’ has broken several records at the box office.
