Film editor Ajay Sharma took his last breath on May 4. Ajay edited films like Jagga Jasoos, Karwaan, Ludo, Amazon Prime series Bandish Bandits among others. Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar confirmed his death on Twitter. She wrote, “Devasted is an understatement. We lost Ajay Sharma today. Not just an incredibly fine editor but an absolute gem of a human being. Nothing makes sense (sic).”

He was working on Taapsee Pannu’s Rashmi Rocket. He also worked as an assistant editor for The Dirty Picture, Barfi, Agneepath, Kai Po Che, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Life in A Metro.
Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani also mourned Ajay Sharma’s death.

Film editor TS Suresh also condoled his death as he tweeted, “Life is so unfair. Rest in Peace, Ajay Sharma, a great talent gone too soon. My heartfelt condolences to his family & friends during this difficult time (sic).”

Recently, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit had sent out an SOS on Twitter seeking an oxygen bed for Ajay in Delhi as his oxygen level dropped to 83.
