Rashmika was in Delhi for the promotions of her upcoming film. While interacting with the media at the event, she spoke about why she decided to do a Bollywood film; the reason is because of her ‘fans’ she took the plunge.
As reported by India Today, the Geetha Govindam actress said, “I was asked ‘if you are doing films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, so why not Hindi?’ So, that’s where the thought started, because back then it was too long of a journey. I think then when I used to go live and interact with people through social media, it started pouring in that ‘you have to do a Hindi film’.”
She added, “For me, why I started listening to Hindi scripts was because of the audience, because of them saying come here, do a film here. We want to see your work here. So, in the meantime, Pushpa happened, and it blew our minds with the response and today I am here with Goodbye.”
