Ratna Pathak recalls being compared to sister Supriya
As always, Ratna was at her candid best. During the conversation, she recalled her old times and revealed that she was constantly pitted against her sister Supriya Pathak who she felt was prettier than her. The revelation came after her Dhak Dhak co-star Dia Mirza shared that she lost out on films because she was ‘good-looking’. The veteran actress shared, “My sister and I we were constantly compared and Supriya was definitely the much prettier one. I had funny teeth and was thin as a stick at that time.”
She further went on to add, “I was lucky I never got caught up with the fact of having to look good. I thought I can’t look good so then I had to do something else now. So, I better know how to act kamse kam woh toh mujhe kaam dega (at least that’ll give me work).” Like Ratna, Supriya Pathak is also a terrific actor.
