Raveena Tandon becomes grandmother; welcomes home the newborn baby

Raveena Tandon is a naani (grandmom) now as her daughter, Chhaya has delivered a baby and Raveena is overwhelmed with the arrival of her grandchild. Taking to her Instagram handle, Raveena has shared a few pictures where the entire family is seen welcoming the little one with puja and other rituals.

In the pictures shared by Raveena, we see Chhaya carrying the baby in her arms. In one picture, we also see Raveena’s husband Anil Thadani. The actress captioned the pics as “Thanking the pantheon almighty. The baby comes home .”

A few days back, Raveena had organized a baby shower for Chhaya. The pictures were shared by Raveena’s close friend and nutritionist Pooja Makhija. As soon as she shared the pictures, it went viral on social media. In the pictures Raveena’s 14-year-old daughter Rasha was also seen. The trio posed together for the pictures.

For the unversed, Raveena adopted two girls-Chhaya and Pooja in 1995 when she was just 21. Earlier in an interview with Hindustan Times, Raveena said, “I didn’t think too much at that time about how I would manage it. I knew that I could afford to bring up and give a great life to two children and I went ahead with it. I am so proud of them today. But of course, I could not have done it without my family. I would be shooting non-stop and they took care of them entirely,”
