Raveena Tandon has THIS to say after watching the revamp version of Akshay-Katrina song Tip Tip Barsa

The revamped version of Tip Tip Barsa from Sooryavanshi has become the talk of the town and how, all thanks to the Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar’s sizzling chemistry and of course, the song. While some absolutely loved the song for its upbeat music, some are seen expressing disappointment and hailing the original song. There were many who said that no one can replace Raveena’s charm from the song. For the unversed, the original song Tip Tip Barsa Paani is still considered to be one of the iconic songs.

Amidst the mixed reactions of people, Farah Khan who has choreographed the song revealed what the OG Raveena Tandon has to say about the song. In an interview with Indiatoday, Farah mentioned that the Raja Babu actor was the first one to call her to praise the song. Not just the romantic track, Tandon even praised Katrina.

“Raveena was the first one to call me and say that the song is looking fab and Katrina is looking so good. Even Manish (Malhotra) was of the thought that we go away from the visuals of the original song and he’s made Katrina look like a million bucks. I also don’t think anyone could have done justice to Tip Tip, other than Katrina,” she told the portal.

Moreover, Khan even mentioned that there was pressure to remake this song as she said, “I mean it is Tip Tip Barsa Paani. It is an iconic song, so there was huge pressure on all of us to deliver and do justice to it. Also, don’t forget Katrina and I had Sheila Ki Jawani looming on our heads, so there was that added factor that we had to live up to expectations from our fans.”

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. The film was released on November 5 in the theatres.
