Raveena Tandon joins Arbaaz Khan for social drama ‘Patna Shukla’

Actress Raveena Tandon was last seen in Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2. the film was declared a blockbuster hit which collected over Rs 1000 crores at the box office worldwide. The actress will now be collaborating with producer Arbaaz Khan for an upcoming social drama film ‘Patna Shukla’. Helmed by Vivek Budakoti, the film will go on floors this November.

Speaking about his upcoming release Arbaaz says “I guess since it’s a social drama and we have been known for making hardcore masala flicks, everyone is calling to know more about the film. Yes, it’s a social drama but since we as a production house believe in entertaining our audience, the film has written like that. Patna Shukla has all the ingredients that an Indian audience wants to watch.”

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh also shared the news on Twitter and wrote, “ARBAAZ KHAN ANNOUNCES NEW FILM: RAVEENA TANDON IN LEAD ROLE… After producing #Dabangg, #Dabangg2 and #Dabangg3, actor-producer #ArbaazKhan announces his next film, a social drama… Titled #PatnaShukla… #RaveenaTandon will enact the lead role, while #VivekBudakoti directs.”

The film boasts an ensemble cast which includes Satish Kaushik, Manav Vij, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Jatin Goswami and Anushka Kaushik.

On the work front, Raveena Tandon will also be seen in ‘Ghudchadi’ alongside Sanjay Dutt. The film is being directed by Binoy Gandhi and produced by T-series and Keep Dreaming pictures.
