Raveena Tandon pens a heartfelt note after her father’s demise: For I am you and you are me will live till eternity

Actor Raveena Tandon’s father Ravi Tandon passed away on February 11 at the age of 85. Reportedly, he had lung fibrosis and passed away due to respiratory failure at his residence at 3:45 am. He was a film director and a producer. Today, Raveena took to her Instagram and penned a long heartfelt note for her father after his demise. The note started with, “I do not hold you in my arms and press you close to my heart, yet feel these things. When you are hurt, I feel your pain, when you laugh there is joy in me.”

“All the things you are were once part of me — your blood, your bones, your flesh. You are part of the dream I was that still remains. You are the prof that once I moved and walked the earth. you are my legacy to the world, the most precious that I could bestow. All the values are as nothing when compared with you,” a part of her note read. Raveena Tandon’s note talks about his legacy, her love towards her father and life.

“You are the link that joins me with tomorrow, the link in the chain that spreads from time beginning to time never-ending,” another part of her note read. Raveena concludes, “I live in the hearts of those who remember me and to live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.”

Yesterday, the Aranyak actor dropped a statement on her father’s demise, “My beloved father returned to his heavenly abode this morning. He was a pillar of strength for my family and me. As we go through this tough time, we are grateful for your condolences, warmth and support.”
