Raveena Tandon’s ‘Shab’ will see Wendell Rodricks and Varun Bahl making their acting debut

Raveena Tandon-starrer ‘Shab’ is all set to hit the screens next week. The film marks the debut of actor Ashish Bisht who plays the leading role in it. But, that’s not the only acting debut in this film. Two ace fashion designers are also making their debut with this Onir directorial. And they are none other than Wendell Rodricks and Varun Bahl.

Talking about their characters, Varun Bahl will be seen playing himself in the film, as he is a part of the jury panel with the character of Raveena Tandon who judge models which includes the character of Ashish Bisht. On roping in the best designers to make an appearance in his film, director Onir said, “Varun and Wendell are very dear friends and were sporting enough to immediately agree to be themselves in the film. It was fun shooting with them. Wendell was so sure I will edit him out as he is very camera shy, but he is in the film as a mentor to the character of Ashish who he styled. Varun looks super sexy on screen.” [sic]

In fact, Wendell Rodricks has even styled actor Ashish Bisht for the film. Wendell Rodricks has stepped out of his comfort zone and also faced the camera for director Onir for the first time ever.

Talking about the film ‘Shab’, it also stars Arpita Chatterjee playing a pivotal role in it. The movie is slated to release on July 14.
