Vidya Balan, who had impressed us with her performance in ‘Begum Jaan’, is all set to be back on the big screen with the film ‘Tumhari Sulu’. The movie is slated to release on December 1, 2017, and recently the cast and crew of the film had a get-together at producer Atul Kasbekar’s place.
Vidya at the get-together was clicked with her real-life and reel-life husbands, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Manav Kaul. Well, for the uninitiated, Manav plays the role of Vidya’s husband in ‘Tumhari Sulu’. The pictures of get-together were shared by Priya Gupta, who is one of the producers of the film.
She tweeted, “#TumhariSulu at @atulkasbekar’s beautiful home @vidya_balan @sureshtriveni @tanuj_garg @Manavkaul19 @NehaDhupia @mymalishka #SuperFun.”

Vidya will be recreating the track ‘Hawa Hawai’ from ‘Mr. India’ in ‘Tumhari Sulu’. When Sridevi was promoting her film ‘MOM’, we had asked her about her song being recreated, to which she had said, “She (Vidya) is beautiful, she is the best actress, I love her work and I am very fond of her. I am glad that she is doing it and I am very curious to see the song.”
Vidya recently started a new journey as she was appointed as one of the members of CBFC. The actress in a series of tweets had written, “I am very happy to join the CBFC and I hope to fulfill my responsibilities as a member to the best of my abilities. I look forward to this new and exciting phase where our cinema will be allowed to reflect the sensibilities, realities and complexities of the society we are living in today.” (Also Read: Vidya Balan happy to join CBFC.
