Rekha’s staff tests positive for COVID-19; veteran actress to get her own test done and not by BMC

After several Bollywood celebrities’ staff members had tested positive for Coronavirus, some of them being Janhvi Kapoor, Karan Johar and Aamir Khan. Now, veteran actress Rekha’s security guard has been tested positive for Covid-19. While the civic body BMC has conducted tests of all of Rekha’s staff, she said she will get her test done on her own.

Yesterday it was said that Rekha’s entire bungalow was sealed but now, new reports state that the portion of the compound which housed the staff has been sealed. Also according to a report by Hindustan Times, a civic official, who did not wish to be named, said that Rekha did not want BMC to do her test. So she informed the body that she will get her test done on her own and then submit the report to them.

Meanwhile, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has also been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital as he was tested positive for Coronavirus. Big B also revealed that his family has undergone all the tests and they are waiting for the results.

Big B took to his Twitter and confirmed the news and also asked all those who were close to him to get themselves tested as well. He wrote, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”
