Release date of Kapil Sharma’s next film ‘Firangi’ announced

Kapil Sharma made his Bollywood debut with film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ two years ago and then he continued to tickle everyone’s funny bones through his show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. But for all those who are looking forward to Kapil’s second film, here’s a good news. The actor is all set to return to the big screen with his second film ‘Firangi’ and today he announced the release date of this film.

Kapil took to his Twitter handle to announce the release date of this film and wrote, “Happy to announce 10th Nov 2017 for #Firangi ! Need your Blessings, Love & Support ! With ‘Firangi’, Kapil Sharma will be making his debut as a producer. The film stars Ishita Dutta of ‘Drishyam’ fame and Monica Gill playing the female leads. It will even mark the directorial debut of Rajiv Dhingra in Bollywood who has Punjabi blockbusters like ‘Love Punjab’ and ‘Angrej’ to his credit.

Reportedly, the plot of ‘Firangi’ revolves around a local boy (played by Kapil Sharma) who falls in love with an NRI girl (played by Monica Gill). It is a love triangle with the elements of action and comedy.

Recently, Kapil Sharma was in the news after he fainted on the sets of his show and was immediately rushed to the hospital. After being discharged from the hospital, he took to his Twitter to interact with his fans where he thanked all of them for their good wishes and assured them that he is better now. He said, “I am feeling better now. Sometimes stress at work affects one’s health, but thanks to love of you all I am fine now.” [sic]
