Release date of Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ announced

The makers of Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan’s ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ have announced the film’s release date. The rom-com is set to hit theatres on coming June 2.

“#BehenHogiTeri out on 2nd June! Stay tuned, trailer will hit the tube next week #DontBeBehenZoned,” the official Twitter handle of Zee Music Company posted on Twitter.

Does the hashtag give you a hint? Looks like the film is going to revolve around a girl being sister-zoned badly. It is usually the guy who suffers all kinds of weird ‘zones’. A woman’s perspective will be quite interesting, for a change!

With a grasping survival drama like ‘Trapped’, Rajkummar had us dumbstruck. Then we saw his 324-year-old avatar for ‘Raabta’ and were out of words for quite some time. How can an actor be this versatile? And now, it’s his turn for some romance!

This is the first time and Rajkummar and Shruti will pair up on the big screen.  The film’s trailer unveils itself in the coming week.
