Release of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ postponed to 2018?

We are likely to lose track of dates now. The release of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has been apparently delayed again. And if reports are to be believed, then the film will now release in 2018 straightaway!

Director Anurag Basu is shooting for ‘Jagga Jasoos’ for over four years now, and some sequences are yet to be shot. Out of the many reasons that caused numerous delays, one was Ranbir and Katrina’s much-discussed breakup which took place in 2015.

Sources from the sets told us they were visibly uncomfortable in each other’s company and also denied to travel together for outstation shoots. The next trouble came when Katrina Kaif was unhappy with a few of her shots and wanted to re-shoot them. However, she had lost oodles of weight while filming ‘Fitoor’ and her newer appearance was not matching with how she looked in other sequences of ‘Jagga Jasoos’.

Even though it finally got a release date, the film was clashing with Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Sarkar 3’. At the same time, Ranbir got busy with shoots of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic and also underwent a drastic physical transformation.

And now, it’s almost a year’s wait again!
