Relief for Deepika Padukone in the ‘AIB Roast’ case

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has got a temporary relief in the ‘AIB Roast Case’ from the Bombay High Court. The controversial AIB Roast, has come under fire from several groups and an FIR has been filed against the participants and even some of the spectators. Therefore many of Bollywood celebrities who were part of the show have landed in a soup: Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh , Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone are some of them.

Recently The Bombay High Court has granted interim protection to Deepika. It has restrained the Mumbai police from arresting her till March 16 in the AIB Roast obscenity case. Deepika had filed a petition seeking to quash the FIR registered against her. Her lawyer had argued that she was just a spectator at the AIB Roast. The High Court has granted protection to Deepika Padukone till March 16.

Recently the three Khan’s of Bollywood too had criticized the controversial roast.
