Choreographer cum filmmaker Remo D’Souza, after directing ‘Race 3’ is all set to produce a movie titled ‘Time To Dance’. The dance film features Sooraj Pancholi in a pivotal role and also marks the debut of Katrina Kaif’s sister, Isabelle Kaif in Bollywood.
Remo, who plans to turn the film into a franchise like ‘Any Body Can Dance’, is at present in London to choreograph as many as eight songs on Isabella and Sooraj. He has made them rehearse their dance pieces for three months in Mumbai before flying to London to shoot for it.
As per sources, “Since it’s a musical love story, there are plenty of dance forms that the makers are attempting to show and the songs are rather elaborate too.”
Sooraj reveals, “We have around eight songs. Remo sir has joined us in London because he will be choreographing all the tracks. We will first finish shooting six of the eight songs. The other two, which are a part of the climax sequence, will be shot later. One of them is a dance track while the other is a romantic number with a lot of montage shots.”
He further added, “We have finished shooting three out of the six songs that we are supposed to film. One of them is a romantic track, featuring me and Isabelle, and the other two are complete dance numbers. We have used a mixed bag of different dance forms for each song.”
Sooraj says, “Remo sir is flying to India to check how the footage has turned out. He will be back again next week to shoot the other three dance numbers. We have been shooting in different locations — on the streets of London and around the countryside. We will be working continuously till August 14, when we wrap up the principal shoot.”
Remo is staying with the team until the shooting wraps up. They are on a two-month start-to-finish schedule and have already completed around 40 days of shoot. During the next 20-25 days, they will be filming the other songs. Sooraj and Isabelle headed to London at the beginning of June and will be back in India by mid-August after the shoot wraps up.
