Renault gifts Salman Khan first Renault Koleos

Its raining luxury cars for Salman Khan. After Audi RS7 he becomes the first Indian owner of the new Renault Koleos that the actor was gifted at the Renault Star Guild Awards 2014 by Mr. Sumit Sawhney – Country CEO and Managing Director for Renault Operations in India.

According to sources, its no secret that Salman Khan has a fetish for high end cars and seems like he is being gifted once again a luxury car this year too.

Renault, which was the main sponsor for the recently concluded Star Guild Awards, took the opportunity to reveal the face-lifted Koleos on stage in front of the large crowd consisting of Bollywood bigwigs and other industry personalities, many of whom could be considered potential customers.

Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director for Renault Operations in India, who came on stage to introduce the 2014 Koleos had Bollywood actor Salman Khan for company. Post its introduction Sawhney handed over the keys of the all new Koleos to the Bollywood actor, who became the first person in India to own the new SUV.

The 2014 Koleos is powered by a 2.0 liter diesel engine rated at 173bhp and 360 Nm of torque. It also has an 8-speaker Bose music system. The new SUV will be offered in both two wheel and all wheel drive variants, along with 6 speed automatic and manual transmissions.
