Respect! Akshay Kumar extends monetary support to the families of jawans killed in Sukma Attack

He has done it once again! Akshay Kumar has showcased his gratitude towards the men of armed forces who lost their lives in the recent Sukma Attack. 12 CRPF men were killed in this ambush that took places between the armed forces and the Maoists.

As soon as Akshay Kumar got to know about this, he decided to extend monetary help to the members of these jawans. As per reports, Akshay has decided to donate Rs 9 lakh to the family of deceased.

Reports have it that Akshay got in touch with the Union Home Ministry to acquire the account details of the family members of these martyrs. IPS officer Amit Lodha, DIG of Jaisalmer sector north, spoke to TOI about Akshay’s gesture.

He was quoted saying, “Akshay himself has been in touch with me and he keeps enquiring about incidents and when I told him about the Sukma incident, he immediately told me he would like to contribute and do his bit for the families of the martyred jawans, we are all grateful to him for this kind gesture.”
