Revealed! Here is what Vicky Kaushal will do in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic

We all love the powerhouse performer that Vicky Kaushal is, and have been waiting to watch him yet again, on big screens. Imagine our thrill when we got to know that he will be a part of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic! And now, we know what his character is going to be.

Vicky Kaushal is also a part of the untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic and the actor will be seen playing one of Sanjay’s closest friends.

A source reveals, “The character being played by Vicky, is one of Sanjay’s friends settled in the US and who knows Baba from his childhood. The makers do not want to release his name as he’s not from the film industry and wants to protect his privacy. Only people close to Sanju know the identity of this character.”

The insider further adds, “Vicky will be seen throughout the film. This friend has been with the actor through all his ups and downs. And as Sanju can’t visit the US, (due to visa issues) this friend flies down a couple of times a year to India to meet him, or they meet abroad. Director Raju Hirani also met him on one of his trips to the US to research his character and look. Vicky will meet this US friend soon, so he is more in sync with his character.”

Also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna, the film is expected to release by Christmas 2017.
