Karan Johar is presently judging ‘India’s Next Superstars’, a television talent reality show. Recently, while shooting for one of the episodes, he happened to talk about his director-producer-choreographer friend Farah Khan. With that, we also came to know an interesting piece of trivia. Did you know that Farah was offered to choreograph all songs of the cult romantic film ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, but refused it?

It so happened that Farah had already committed to a Marathi film at that time.
“I love Farah. She is so professional and determined with what she wants. I remember we were shooting for DDLJ when (filmmakers) Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra personally called for Farah to choreograph all the songs.
It’s everyone’s dream to work with these two biggies at some point in their careers and Farah was getting this opportunity at a very early stage. She refused to take up the project as she had committed to do a Marathi film. That’s the level of commitment she has,” said KJo.
Over two decades back, when Farah was only a few years old in the business, she rather stuck to her commitment, winning over the lucrative opportunity of working with SRK and a banner as big as Yash Raj Films.
Now that’s appreciable!
