Rhea Chakraborty arrested and taken for medical tests; lawyer Satish Maneshinde calls it ‘travesty of justice’

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is under investigation. During the course of it, Rhea Chakraborty and a few related others’ WhatsApp chats revealed a drug conspiracy. For which, Rhea, her brother and a few others has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Amidst this, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde called this the travesty of justice.

Rhea will be taken for medical tests reportedly this evening. In his statement to news channels, Maneshinde said, “Travesty of Justice. 3 Central Agencies hounding single Woman , just because she was in love with a Drug Addict who was suffering from Mental Health issues for several years under care of 5 Leading Psychiatrists and then committed suicide (sic).”

According to a report in Zee News, Rhea has confessed to the NCB that she used to smoke cigarettes that were filled with marijuana (ganja). She also confessed that Sushant was consuming drugs since 2016.

Satish further took to his Twitter handle and wrote to the media, “Dear media please also tell this is only the remand for few days. For the further interrogation. Becoz general people are considering as final conclusion of case
#TruthMatters (sic).”

Apart from Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant’s ex-aide Samuel Miranda has also been arrested by the NCB.
