Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea hearing postponed again; actress to remain in judicial custody

Rhea Chakraborty doesn’t seem to be getting any respite in the NDPS case filed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The actress was sent to further judicial custody till October 6 and the latest reports state that her bail plea hearing has been postponed again.

The actress and her brother Showik’s bail plea hearing was supposed to take place yesterday in the Bombay High Court. However, owing to the heavy rainfall it was put off by a day. And now as per a Times Now report, the hearing has been postponed once again.

Both Rhea and her brother Showik’s bail hearing was supposed to take place today. However according to a Times Now report the hearing has been postponed further. It is yet to be known when the next hearing will take place now. Rhea and Showik had filed bail pleas in the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances case before Bombay High Court.

An NDPS special court had extended Rhea’s judicial custody after her previous bail plea was rejected. In her 47-page long bail plea, Rhea has made several shocking allegations on Sushant Singh Rajput and his family. The actress alleged that Sushant took advantage of his closest people to sustain his ‘drug habit’. And she once again stated that Sushant’s relationship with his family was strained.
