Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik’s judicial custody extended till November 3

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik in a drug probe related to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Rhea was granted bail by Bombay High Court on October 7, but Showik was in custody till October 20. As per a report in Hindustan Times, the special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Showik and other accused arrested by the NCB.

Showik Chakraborty was arrested on September 4 and remained in NCB custody till September 9. And his custody kept on extending. NCB claimed that during questioning, he had revealed names of several Bollywood celebrities and peddlers involved in the drug nexus.

NCB has also arrested the brother of actor Arjun Rampal’s partner Gabriella Demetriades, Agisilaos Demetriades in a drug case. He was arrested late Saturday from a resort in Lonavala. As per a report in Indian Express, NCB said Agisilaos supplied narcotics to the peddlers who were in touch with Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik.

The agency also received data from other electronic devices that shows that Demetriades was in touch with Sushant’s domestic help Dipesh Sawant and house manager Samuel Miranda. Both were arrested with Rhea and Showik. But they were granted bail along with Rhea.
