Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 and on June 8, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had left his residence after a tiff. Rhea had earlier confessed that it was because Sushant’s sister gave him unprescribed medicines. And now the actress has filed a complaint against Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh for giving him unprescribed drugs.

Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh, reacted to this complaint saying this is just a way of letting the Mumbai Police meddle with the case and do some mischief.

According to a report by ANI, Vikas Singh said, “I’ve been given a complaint filed by #RheaChakraborty in Bandra Police station. It’s effort to keep jurisdiction of Mumbai Police in this matter when SC said complaints with regard to the death of #SushantSinghRajput will be investigated by CBI: Vikas Singh, Sushant’s father’s lawyer”

He said it is just a way to allow Mumbai Police to do some mischief. “So this is clear attempt to somehow keep the Mumbai Police alive in this matter so that they can do some mischief and ensure that the family of Sushant does not get justice in this matter. If Bandra Police accepts the complaint, it’ll be a violation of the order of Supreme Court and hence a contempt of the court. If Bandra Police proceeds with it, we will take the matter to Supreme Court under contempt of court,” Vikas Singh added.

According to a report by NDTV, in her complaint Rhea has named Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh and Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, it read, “Sushant died within five days after obtaining this unlawful prescription. It is imperative that actions of Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar and others be investigated and that it be determined as to how they came to provide the deceased with such a bogus and unlawful prescription.”
