Rhea Chakraborty left Sushant Singh Rajput’s house after his sister gave him medicines without prescription, says her lawyer

Rhea Chakraborty is currently being probed by three agencies Narcotics Control Bureau, the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate over various charges in Sushant Sigh Rajput case. Sushant passed away on June 14 and on June 8 Rhea had left Sushant’s residence. The reason, as per her lawyer is because Sushant’s sister gave Sushant medicines without a prescription.

According to a report by India Today, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said, “Rhea Chakraborty in her statements to the CBI and ED said that on June 8, Priyanka had chatted with Sushant. She asked Sushant to take three different medicines without prescription. Rhea protested as she said that he was already taking medicines prescribed by Sushant’s doctors. Rhea had an argument with Sushant regarding the same and then Sushant asked her to leave. Rhea then called her brother, Showik Chakraborty, to take her home.”

He further added, “It is highly improper. They need to be prosecuted for making false hospital prescription. In the prescription, it is said that it was made in OPD, which is false. Sushant didn’t step out of his home. It should be investigated how Sushant got the prescription from Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital while sitting in Mumbai. It was a forged document.” 

Meanwhile,  a team of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had conducted a raid on Rhea Chakraborty’s residence under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. They have picked up Rhea’s brother Showik and Samuel Miranda for further questioning.
