Richa Chadda detained at Delhi Airport

Bollywood actress Richa Chadda was recently detained and interrogated at the Delhi airport. The security personnel at the airport had found a suspicious white powder in her luggage. The actress was on her way back to Mumbai from Delhi when the incident took place. Well seems like the powder was part of the actress beauty regime, but the security personnel thought that it was something else not what Richa was claiming it to be.

Richa Chadda follows an Ayurvedic Beauty Regime and uses only the traditional method of beauty and skincare for over the last six months. She follows the Ayurveda ritual daily, and that means the powder is carried even when she is travelling. The actress was questioned for two long hours before she was allowed to leave.

Richa too confirmed the news,”I am a big believer in Ayurveda and was recently carrying my Ayurvedic supplements to Mumbai. However, the security found the powders suspicious. I didn’t want them to confiscate my Ayurvedic products because they are tough to procure and are made for me personally by the ved. I had to literally convince them for two hours that it’s nothing wrong or suspicious at all. I know they are doing their job and hence I was more than willing to co-operate. Thankfully I didn’t miss my flight.”
